The early prelims at UFC 243 provided nothing but finishes. On the second bout of the night at a catchweight of 128 pounds, Ji Yeon Kim took on Nadia Kassem in a bout scheduled to go three rounds. However, Kim put things away late in the second round, with one second the spare, brutalizing Kassem's body with punches. Kassem couldn't take the punishment to her core any longer, folding over, and ending the fight.
