Beatdown: Pulver Talks Return; Levens on UFN
On Monday's "Beatdown" TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross discuss the results from The Ultimate Fighter
season three finale. Not only did the UFC crown two new ultimate fighters and hand out three six-figure contracts, they announced the return of a champion.
It's been over four years since Jens Pulver (Pictures) fought inside of the Octagon. Pulver left the UFC after his title defense against
B.J. Penn (Pictures). While the UFC's 155-pound division floundered, Pulver moved on to boxing and competing in numerous other MMA promotions
including PRIDE.
On Saturday night Pulver announced his return. Jens gets "Beatdown" and talks about his return and the growing lightweight division in the UFC.
Justin Levens (Pictures) suffered his second consecutive loss back at UFC 59 to Evan Tanner (Pictures). Levens, who took the fight on two weeks notice, is looking
to make a splash this Wednesday night on the Ultimate Fight Night card as he takes on American Top Team fighter Jorge Santiago (Pictures).
Levens talks about his two loses this year and what he has learned from them. The Ruas Vale Tudo fighter talks about contemplating retirement to
making a splash in "the big show."
