Beatdown: Forrest Responds to Tito; Sylvia Talks Championship
Coming off the first UFC in California, TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross discuss the
event in detail. Joining them are two of the big-name fighters on the card: UFC light heavyweight Forrest Griffin (Pictures) and newly-crowned UFC heavywight champion Tim Sylvia (Pictures).
Tito Ortiz (Pictures) took a close split decision over The Ultimate Fighter star Griffin, and after the fight it looked
as if both fighters had mutual respect for one another. But on Sunday, Tito told Live Audio Wrestling that
Forrest had some sort of grease on the back of his legs, which helped aid in preventing Ortiz's takedowns.
Forrest comes on "Beatdown" and responds to the allegations. He also talks with De Santis and Gross about the
fight, whether his opinion on the outcome has changed since Saturday, and how he feels he stacks up now with
the elite 205-pounders in the UFC.
Sylvia talks about what it was like, as a decisive underdog against Andrei Arlovski (Pictures), to walk away UFC champion.
How did "The Maine-iac" come off the floor to knockout the Belarusian with a short uppercut?
