The top-flight contenders will do battle over the interim Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight crown when their rematch serves as the co-headliner for UFC 277 on Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Moreno—who outpointed France to a unanimous verdict a little less than three years ago—has compiled a 4-1-2 record across seven appearances since he returned to the promotion in 2019. He last competed at UFC 270, where he surrendered the undisputed 125-pound championship in a five-round unanimous decision loss to archrival Deiveson Figueiredo. France, meanwhile, steps into the cage on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. The City Kickboxing export last fought on March 26, when he laid claim to a unanimous decision over Askar Askarov in their three-round UFC on ESPN 33 pairing.

As Moreno and France move toward their high-stakes clash at 125 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

28: Years of age for Moreno, who was born in Tijuana, Mexico, on Dec. 7, 1993.

11: Moreno victories by submission, accounting for 58% of his career total (19). His methods of choice: six rear-naked chokes, two triangle chokes, two armbars and one guillotine choke. Moreno holds three other victories by knockout or technical knockout (16%) and five more by decision (26%).

634: Significant strikes landed by Moreno as a UFC flyweight, placing him fourth on the promotion’s all-time list at 125 pounds. Only Demetrious Johnson (1,059), Joseph Benavidez (824) and Tim Elliott (751) have connected with more.

.729: Cumulative winning percentage between the six opponents—Figueiredo, Alexandre Pantoja, Sergio Pettis, Brenson Hansen, Ron Scolesdang and Marco Beristain Castillo—who have defeated Moreno. They boast a combined record of 86-31-1.
