Rob Font might be one of the most underrated talents in the UFC’s bantamweight division.

The Boston native won his fourth straight bout at UFC Fight Night 188, as he outdueled former champ Cody Garbrandt in an impressive unanimous decision triumph. As good as Font looked, it isn’t enough for him to gain any ground from his current No. 7 ranking in Sherdog.com’s divisional poll. Bantamweight is just that good.

Elsewhere, Norma Dumont made the biggest leap of anyone at UFC Fight Night 188, going from unranked to fourth at 145 pounds on the strength of an upset victory against former title challenger Felicia Spencer in a main card matchup. Dumont’s victory caused some shuffling in the featherweight rankings, though Cristiane Justino maintained the status quo near the top of the division thanks to a fifth-round finish of Leslie Smith at Bellator 259.

There was also some significant action in the atomweight division, as Alesha Zappitella retained her belt with a controversial win over Jessica Correa Delboni at Invicta FC 44. Thanks to her performance in a fight many thought she deserved to win, Delboni moves from 11th to seventh at 105 pounds – one spot behind Zappitella. Meanwhile, Rena Kubota, with no recent atomweight – or super atomweight – victories to speak of, exits the 105-pound poll.
