Sherdog correspondent Marcelo Alonso in this exclusive interview sat down with Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend and mixed martial arts icon Rickson Gracie to discuss some of the details surrounding his two vale tudo fights with Rei Zulu. Their first fight in 1980 saw Gracie get thrown out of the ring twice but refuse to give up, thanks to the encouragement of his father, Helio, and his cousin, Rolls. They met again in 1983, when Zulu sought to avenge his previous defeat.
