No Punches Pulled: Frank Shamrock Joins Beatdown
In the world of mixed martial arts few names are as respected as Frank Shamrock (Pictures). The former UFC champion joins TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross on the latest edition of "Beatdown."
Shamrock is having an active year in 2006. Besides defeating Cesar Gracie (Pictures) by knockout on the first ever sanctioned MMA in California earlier this year, the middleweight has signed a multi-million dollar contract with The World Fighter promotion and is head coach of the newly founded International Fight League's San Jose
Razorclaws.
Frank discusses being a part of the IFL, signing with the World Fighter and possible match-ups with Renzo Gracie (Pictures) and Phil Baroni (Pictures). He is also not shy with his thoughts on the current status of the UFC and California State Commionser Armando Garcia's suspension of Shamrock trained fighter Brian Ebersole (Pictures).
TJ and Josh respond to e-mail and hit on this weekend's action.
