Mayhem, Rampage and The Law on Beatdown
Thursday's "Beatdown" is loaded with coverage for the upcoming World Fighting Alliance that place this Saturday night at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Host TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross breakdown Saturday night's card and talk with Jason Miller, Matt Lindland (Pictures) and Quinton Jackson (Pictures).
Miller is one of the great entertainers in mixed martial arts. In and out of the cage/ring, you never know what you're going to get with "Mayhem." This Saturday night on Pay-Per-View he will take on Lodune Sincaid (Pictures), best known by most fans as one of the competitors from season one of The Ultimate Fighter on SpikeTV. Miller talks about his opponent, fighting on the mainland, and moving up to 205 pounds for this fight.
Lindland is one of the sport's best at 185 pounds. After becoming a top contender in the UFC middleweight division and leaving due to a contractual dispute, Lindland is beginning to enjoy success again. Lindland took out
Mike Van Arsdale (Pictures) last April, and now looks to defeat one of the best at 205 in "Rampage" Jackson. "The Law" joins De Santis and Gross to talk about Saturday's main event fight with Jackson and his other endevours in MMA.
Jackson also joins TJ and Josh on this packed "Beatdown." Quinton hasn't fought in the States for a few years. Most of his success in MMA has been in the PRIDE organization in Japan. Saturday night Quinton will return stateside to fight Lindland. "Rampage" discusses coming to the WFA, fighting back in the U.S. where he started, and what he
thinks of Lindland and the fight ahead.
