Cheap Seats: UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson

Jordan Breen and Greg Savage returned to the Sherdog Radio Network Tuesday for another edition of “Cheap Seats.” On today’s program the guys took listener calls, emails, and tweets. They also spoke to UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

“Mighty Mouse” Demetrious Johnson was scintillating in knocking out Joseph Benavidez Saturday night in Sacramento. The Matt Hume trained fighter joined “Cheap Seats” to talk about the big win, his year in mixed martial arts, and if his resume makes him 2013’s fighter of the year. Johnson also speaks on how he has improved over the last year, if he is a pound-for-pound top 5, and who might be next for him going forward. Johnson also speaks on if he is open to going back to bantamweight for a superfight.

Breen and Savage also touch on the hiatus of Georges St-Pierre and if they think he will ever return to the UFC’s octagon.
