Beatdown: Melendez, Griffin Discuss Strikeforce Wins

Friday night in San Jose, Calif., Strikeforce promoted its second mixed martial arts show. On Monday's edition of "Beatdown" TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross discuss the card and other news coming out of Strikeforce.

Joining De Santis and Gross are two winners from the card at HP Pavilion. Tyson Griffin (Pictures) scored a TKO victory over veteran Duane Ludwig (Pictures). Some say that referee Jon Schorle stopped the fight too early. Griffin discusses the stoppage and what's next for him at 155 pounds.

Speaking of the lightweight division, "Beatdown" welcomes new Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez (Pictures) after his five-round battle with Clayton Guida (Pictures). Melendez speaks about the fight with Clay and what it took for him to come out on top.
