Legacy FC promoter Mick Maynard revealed the matchups on Monday. Legacy FC 61 takes place at the Bomb Factory in Dallas on Oct. 14 and is also expected to include the Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Mackenzie Dern’s sophomore MMA appearance. The evening’s main card will air on AXS-TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

Aguilar captured the vacant 145-pound title with a split-decision triumph over Tony Kelley at Legacy FC 57 on July 1, his fifth win in six outings with the Texas-based promotion. Jackson, meanwhile, returns to Legacy following a winless three-bout stint with the UFC that ended with a majority draw against Levan Makashvili this past January.

Peterson earned bantamweight gold with a fourth-round submission of Manny Vazquez at Legacy FC 56 on June 24; “Ocho” has won his last six fights. De La Rosa will make his promotional debut with a 7-0 record that includes four victories inside the distance.
