Yusuff, 30, has rattled off eight wins across his past nine outings. The Team Lloyd Irvin representative last competed on Oct. 1, 2022, when he needed just 30 seconds to dismiss Don Shainis with a guillotine choke at UFC Fight Night 211. A Season 2 graduate of Dana White’s Contender Series, Yusuff owns a 6-1 record inside the Octagon. Barboza, meanwhile, has lost five of his past eight bouts. The 37-year-old former Ring of Combat champion last appeared at UFC on ESPN 44, where he cut down Billy Quarantillo with a knee strike in the first round of their April 15 pairing. Barboza’s 17 victories in the UFC tie him for 19th on the promotion’s all-time list.

UFC Fight Night “Yusuff vs. Barboza” also features a middleweight clash matching Michel Pereira (-210) with Andre Petroski (+170), a flyweight rematch pitting Edgar Chairez (-355) against Daniel da Silva (+255) and a pair of bantamweight battles, as Jonathan Martinez (-115) tests Adrian Yanez (-115) and Christian Rodriguez (-142) confronts Cameron Saaiman (+112).
