By The Numbers: Grant Dawson vs. Damir Ismagulov

Grant Dawson wants a bigger slice of the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight pie.

The American Top Team export will match wits and fists with Damir Ismagulov in the UFC on ESPN 48 co-main event this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Dawson enters the cage on an 11-fight unbeaten streak during which he has compiled a 10-0-1 record. He last appeared at UFC Fight Night 214, where he subdued onetime Olympic silver medalist Mark O. Madsen with a rear-naked choke in the third round of their Nov. 5 encounter. Ismagulov, meanwhile, has rattled off 19 victories in his past 20 outings. He last competed on Dec. 17, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Arman Tsarukyan in their three-round pairing at UFC Fight Night 216.
