Francis Ngannou inspires fear like few others in combat sports history.

“The Predator” heads into 2025 as a cornerstone of the Professional Fighters League and one of the most accomplished heavyweights in mixed martial arts. Ngannou has rattled off seven straight wins, six of them finishes. He last saw action when he made his promotional debut at the PFL “Battle of the Giants” pay-per-view on Oct. 19 and knocked out Renan Ferreira to win the inaugural PFL Super Fights heavyweight championship.

As Ngannou awaits word on his next target from PFL matchmakers, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied him to this point:

38: Years of age for Ngannou, who was born on Sept. 5, 1986 in Batie, Cameroon—7,904 miles from where he now trains at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas.

13: Ngannou victories by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 72% of his career total (18). His list of PFL and Ultimate Fighting Championship victims: Ferreira, Stipe Miocic, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Junior dos Santos, Cain Velasquez, Curtis Blaydes (twice), Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Bojan Mihajlovic and Luis Henrique Barbosa de Oliveira. Ngannou holds four other victories by submission (22%) and another by decision (6%).

5: Promotions for which Ngannou has worked during his mixed martial arts career. In addition to the PFL and UFC, he has suited up for Strength & Honor Championship, KHK MMA Team and 100% Fight.

659: Days spent by Ngannou as UFC heavyweight champion. He laid claim to the title with a second-round knockout of Miocic at UFC 260 on March 27, 2021 and successfully defended it on one occasion before being striped amid a contract dispute on Jan. 14, 2023.

300,000: Dollars in post-fight bonuses banked by Ngannou across his 14 appearances in the UFC. He was awarded “Performance of the Night” six times.

4: Sub-minute finishes on the Ngannou resume. He disposed of Luc Ngeleka with a guillotine choke in 43 seconds at SHC 10 in September 2014, tore through Blaydes with punches in 45 seconds at UFC Fight Night 141 in November 2018, punched out Velasquez in 26 seconds at UFC on ESPN 1 in February 2019 and cut down Rozenstruik with punches in 20 seconds at UFC 249 in May 2020.

37: Rounds started by Ngannou as a professional mixed martial artist. He has involved the judges four times and carries a 1-3 record in those bouts.

7: Countries in which Ngannou has plied his MMA trade. He has gone 10-2 in the United States, 3-1 in France, 1-0 in Saudi Arabia, 1-0 in Switzerland, 1-0 in Bahrain, 1-0 in Croatia and 1-0 in China.

30,000,000: Dollars in estimated pay for Ngannou in his two assignments as a pro boxer—a 10-round split decision defeat to Tyson Fury on Oct. 28, 2023 and a second-round knockout loss to Anthony Joshua on March 8, 2024.

.753: Cumulative winning percentage between the three men—Miocic, Derrick Lewis and Zoumana Cisse—who have beaten Ngannou in mixed martial arts. They boast a combined record of 61-20.
