Lightweights
T.J. O'Brien (16-4, 0-1 UFC) vs. Cole Miller (17-5, 6-3 UFC)

The Matchup: O’Brien was busted up badly in his promotional debut loss to Paul Kelly at UFC 123 and looks to get back on the winning track against Miller, a proven commodity who can always be counted upon to produce an entertaining fight.

Miller’s experience provides a big edge here, but perhaps even more important is his increased confidence in his standup. Compared to the ground-focused stylist he was on Season 5 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” there is little resemblance. In outings against Dan Lauzon and Ross Pearson, Miller burst out of the corner as though the other guy had stolen something from him and insulted his family.

Prior to his UFC debut, all 16 of O’Brien’s wins were by submission. However, there is a reason many of Miller’s counterparts on the reality show wanted no part of him on the ground; he is an excellent submission fighter himself. This would be something of a considerable upset if Miller lost, as he has been increasingly focused of late. Even in his loss to Matt Wiman -- which essentially saw him worn down by a bigger guy and better wrestler -- he was still battling down the stretch.

The Pick: Miller comes out and lands heavy on the feet before the pressure gets to O’Brien, who will be submitted in the second round.
