Preview: One Championship 'Kingdom of Heroes'

Dutchman Andy Souwer and Nigerian Anthony Njokuani will both be making their ONE Championship debuts this weekend. Souwer is a veteran kickboxing and former K1 World Max champion. The 35-year-old is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will feel confident going into his bout with Njokuani that he will have too much experience for his opponent, whose record compared to Souwer’s makes him look like a kickboxing relative novice.

Njokuani trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada and is a state kickboxing champion. The 38-year-old veteran of World Extreme Cagefighting and Ultimate Fighting Championship has amassed an MMA record of 16-12 with one no-contest, but lost his last five in a row. Stepping into the ring against an opponent with the experience of Souwer should prove to be too much of a step up in class for the Nigerian.
