A Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt, the 29-year-old Scotland-based Irish import has already accomplished much in his nine years as a professional mixed martial artist. McVeigh has held the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship bantamweight belt for nearly years and, in July 2010, added the Cage Contender 135-pound title to his collection. On a three-fight winning streak, he last competed at Cage Warriors 40 in February, when he stopped Andreas Bernhard on second-round punches in England. McVeigh has delivered more than half (12) of his 18 career victories by submission.
