Victory FC Unveils Full Schedule of Events for 2017
Nebraska-based MMA promotion Victory FC announced Tuesday afternoon
that its first event of 2017 will take place on April 14 at Baxter
Arena in Omaha.
Though a main event and full undercard have yet to be revealed, Victory FC 56 is expected to be loaded with solid regional talent and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. The last event for Victory FC was back in December, when UFC veteran Dakota Cochrane submitted Jake Lindsey via guillotine choke in just 53 seconds in the main event of VFC 55.
Victory FC President and CEO Ryan
Stoddard also announced the promotion’s full schedule for the
year, with stops at familiar locales along the way. After Victory
FC 56 in April, the company will unleash its brand of combat on May
5, July 22, Nov. 3, Nov. 22 and Dec. 16.
“We are super excited about what is to come in 2017 after such a terrific 2016 schedule,” said Stoddard. “Our lineup of top-caliber fighters, many of whom are amongst the prospects in all of MMA, have impressed everyone from those in the arenas to those watching around the world on UFC Fight Pass. It is our goal to only make things better this year and we are sure that the fans will respond to what we have in store.”
Full details of which cities and venues for these events, as well as who will be featured on each card, will be revealed in the coming months.
