Bellator MMA went to Louisville, Kentucky, on Sept. 23, 2010. The main event saw Jeremy Horn beat Bryan Baker by decision. In the bantamweight semi-finals, Zach Makovsky beat Bryan Goldsby by unanimous decision while Ed West edged out a split decision over Jose Vega. Originally, Ulysses Gomez was supposed to be in the tournament, but he withdrew due to staph infection, which resulted in Goldsby getting a shot.

The card also saw Brent Weedman TKO Jacob McClintock in the first round to earn a spot in Bellator’s Season 4 Welterweight tournament.
