On Nov. 22, 2013, Bellator MMA was in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for Bellator 109.

In the main event, Alexander Shlemenko defended his middleweight title as he beat Doug Marshall by TKO in the first round. The Russian would go on to defend the belt one more time before losing it to Brandon Halsey. In the co-main event, Rick Hawn knocked out Ron Keslar in the third round.

Also on the card, Will Brooks scored a decision win over Alexander Sarnavskiy. And, on the prelims, Blagoy Ivanov got a submission win over Keith Bell, Goti Yamauchi knocked out Saul Almeida in the first round, Bubba Jenkins picked up a TKO win and Brent Primus had a first-round submission win.
