recent training session at Glendale Fighting Club.
The Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion lifts them, slams them and judo throws them with the ease of any male fighter. Then she twists their limbs and transitions from one move to the next on the ground until she applies her signature armbar. The teenage fighters are helpless as they tap out left and right to the finishing move rather than having their arms ripped out of their sockets.
Rousey has been preparing for her first title defense against former champion Sarah Kaufman at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman on Saturday at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego on Showtime at 10 p.m.
