PBC on Bounce Weigh-in Results: Robert Easter, Luis Cruz Primed for Title Tilt

Premier Boxing Champions returns to Bounce TV Friday night with a championship doubleheader, arguably the best overall event in the network’s history thus far.

Robert Easter Jr. (18-0, 14 KOs) will make the first defense of his IBF lightweight title when he takes on Luis Cruz in the main event. The local champion looked great on the scale as he came in at 134 pounds. Cruz (22-4-1, 16 KOs), who has won a few regional titles down in his native Puerto Rico, weighed in first and tipped the scale at 134.5 pounds.

The co-feature will see 2008 Olympian Rau’shee (14-1, 4 KOs) put a version of the WBA bantamweight title on the line against Zhanat Zhakiyanov. Owner of the “interim” version of the title, Zhakiyanov (26-1, 18 KOs) checked in at 116.5 pounds while Warren came in at 116.

The action will go down at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, and will be aired live Bounce TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 pm. PT.
