Boxing Coverage on Sherdog.comPBC Finalizes May 8 Bounce TV Card
Premier Boxing Champions announced Friday its
finalized card for May 8, which goes down live on Bounce TV and
bouncetv.com beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The card will be
anchored by a junior middleweight clash between Kanat Islam and
Juan de Angel.
Televised coverage from inside the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Fla., begins with Miguel Cruz (12-0, 11 KOs) taking on Samuel Figueroa (10-0, 4 KOs) while Dennis Galarza (12-1, 8 KOs) will stand opposite Yardley Suarez (15-3, 9 KOs).
PBC: The Next Round on Bounce TV undercard will be highlighted by a middleweight skirmish between Alantez Fox (18-0, 7 KOs) and Milton Nunez (32-15-1, 29 KOs).
Also on the preliminary portion will be Antonio Tarver Jr. (3-0, 2 KOs) in a four-round middleweight contest against Jose Cortez (1-1); junior welterweight prospect Nester Bravo (5-0, 5 KOs) taking on Daniel Lorenzano (4-7-1, 2 KOs) in a four-rounder; Antonio Williams (3-0, 3 KOs) in a four-round featherweight bout versus Luis Ortiz (3-20); Dat Nguyen (17-3, 6 KOs) in a six-round featherweight contest against Jesus Lule (8-16-1, 1 KO); Efrain Cruz (4-0-1, 1 KO) standing opposite Irvin Hernandez (3-14-2, 1 KO) in a four-round junior welterweight affair; and Daruma Almenarez making his pro debut against Zarief Brand in a middleweight four-rounder.
