Glory 44 Set for Aug. 25 in Chicago
Glory, the world’s leading kickboxing promotion, is set to come to
the Windy City for the second time this year in late summer. Glory
44: Chicago will take over Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates,
Il., a suburb just northwest of Chicago.
The action will go down on Aug. 25 though the main event and four-man, single night tournament has yet to be determined. However, Glory officials revealed that hometown product Richard Abraham (11-5, 4 KOs) will fight on the card in a welterweight bout and heavyweight Catalin “The Carpathian Death” Morosanu (44-10, 26 KOs) will compete as well.
Though exact broadcast details have not been announced, the main card will likely be streamed lived on ESPN3 and the SuperFight Series undercard will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
